You kindly arranged an appointment for me in March during a trip to Cham I was seen promptly and advised on my boots. I had no footbed and wanted to see what a difference one made.
I was advised that my current boots were too big and a footbed would not give me optimum support and I opted to buy a new pair. I thought the levels of care and attention that went into sorting out my boots were most impressive...
... I did not feel pressured into buying stuff but was helped. Any problems with my boots were addressed quickly and promptly.
I would definitely recommend Footworks and would be happy to use it again.

I turned up with my old boots expecting a bit of tweaking as I'd had them a few years and had always been happy with them.
I came away with a new pair a full size smaller & footbeds as well, which was something new to me as well.
Improvements to your skiing: Well, I think it's safe to say that since getting the new boots this last season (4 weeks) has been a great leap forward for me. Not only have I improved ability-wise but I've also really enjoyed my skiing as well. The improved feel and feedback I'm getting through the boots has really allowed me to feel more what the skis are doing.

Hi,
I got a video of me skiing in Aspen this year, and submitted it for a few instructors to review. One of them has skiied with me a lot over the last few years. Here are a few of his comments:

I believe that 90% of that difference is due to getting the right boots fitted well by you.
I've had other bootfitters look at how they are set up, and none of them want to make any changes to them.

Not sure about what to say
I now have some boots that fit superbly and have helped me understand the role my foot plays in my skiing. In conjunction with some good lessons, the boots have improved my skiing beyond all recognition. I was given much confdidence at the start of the fitting when instead of measuring my feet you just stared at them and touched them for 5 minutes. You then gave me 2 pairs of boots to try for 10 minutes each and then told me which pair I prefeered over the other , and why. Amazing.
This season has been THE season that has seen me progress out of all proportion. Many thanks,
